Week 5

Library Books
We have library every Friday and it is expected children return their books.  Please ensure your child has packed their books ready to be returned.

Keeping well
We are already half way through the term and we seem to be reaching higher temperatures. Please can you ensure your child brings a named water bottle so they keep hydrated. Also, please can you remind your child to bring their hat. St Mary’s has the rule - no hat, no play. So if they do not have a hat, they need to sit in the shade.

We have Covid going through our school again.  Please make sure if your child is unwell they stay at home.  This stops the spread of germs and keeps other well.

Junior Kapa haka
Well done to all our children who participated in the Kahui Ako Ahurei on Friday. Our Junior roopu stole the show and looked awesome in their new outfits. You sang so beautifully and we were all so proud of you. Thanks especially to Mrs Thomson for organising the group-she did a wonderful job.

Swimming
This week K5-8 are swimming all week. Please ensure your child has their togs and towel each day.

Holiday Reading Logs - are due in tomorrow
We will have a lucky draw at our assembly tomorrow as our assembly was rescheduled from Friday. Thank you to all those children who have already returned their holiday reading logs.
