Week 6

We hope all our Kākano families are having a lovely weekend.  Even though our cross country race has been postponed until term 4 we are still training every morning (weather permitting).  It is great that the kākano teachers can see improved fitness levels among all the children.

I was so proud of the children in Kākano 4 on Friday. They were confident and eager participants in our assembly. Thank you to all those at home who spent time helping the children learn their lines.

Recycling

Please keep the recycling materials coming into school.  It is amazing to see the different things that can be made from cardboard boxes, bottle tops and other recycling materials. Check out some of the creations!
